James H. Nicoll, Esq. becomes a member of BBI Board of Advisors

The Burton Blatt Institute (BBI) at Syracuse University has announced the addition of James H. Nicoll, Esq. to its Board of Advisors. James H. Nicoll, Esq. is a partner at Mackenzie Hughes LLP in Syracuse, NY, where he practices corporate law.  Prior to joining Mackenzie Hughes in 2014, James practiced corporate law for 12 years at two large New York City law firms.

James is an active member of the Syracuse community.  James’ community participation includes serving as an officer or director for several charitable and civic organizations and volunteering for several local organizations.

Commenting on his appointment, James said “I am very excited to be joining BBI’s Board of Advisors.  I’ve seen firsthand, with friends and family, the challenges that people with disabilities face throughout their lives.  BBI’s work truly makes a difference in advancing the lives of people with disabilities.  I look forward to contributing to that effort.”

James received his J.D. degree cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001. He earned a B.S. degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 1998.
