GUDC Directors to Appear on “ADA Live!” (WADA) Show

December 7, 2016

On Wednesday, December 7th, Global Universal Design Commission Executive Director Diana Foote and Associate Director Michael Rotella will appear on “ADA Live!” (WADA), a monthly internet radio show produced by the Southeast ADA Center. The Southeast ADA Center is part of the ADA National Network and is an ongoing project of the Burton Blatt Institute (BBI) at Syracuse University.

This popular show focuses on topics related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and disability in general. Each month, leaders in related fields share their knowledge, experience and successful strategies to increase the participation of persons with disabilities in communities and businesses.

Foote and Rotella will present a well-rounded profile of Universal Design, an analysis of the benefits of UD, and some real world examples of successful UD. There will also be a detailed discussion about the Global Universal Design Commission and its various roles in the advancement of Universal Design.

We hope you’ll tune in and check out this episode featuring the GUDC. The episode will be broadcasted on Wednesday, December 7th at 1:00 p.m. ET and will be available at any time after that.
