BBI Chairman and University Professor, Dr. Peter Blanck, will be an honored speaker at the University of California, San Diego on Monday, November 21. His presentation, entitled “Self-Determination and Legal Capacity: Developments in Supported Decision-Making for Persons with Intellectual and Psychosocial Disabilities,” will discuss self-determination and legal capacity as key elements for fostering a meaningful and independent life. Dr. Blanck’s presentation is sponsored by the UC San Diego Center for Healthy Aging and the Stein Institute for Research on Aging.
